Billy Ray Cyrus was born in Flatwoods, Kentucky on August 25, 1961 to Ron Cyrus and Ruth Ann Adkins. He grew up singing in the choir at his grandfather's church and with his father's gospel quartet. At age 19, he was performing with his band Sly Dog, named after his one-eyed bulldog. In 1992, he burst onto the country music scene with a huge bang with his hit song "Achy Breaky Heart". It propelled the hunky heartthrob to instant superstardom. On December 28, 1993, he married Letitia "Tish" Cyrus. Together, they have seven children: Destiny Hope "Miley", Braison Chance, Jesse Ray Von Cyrus (Tish had a miscarriage with Jesse during her first trimester), Noah Lindsay, Christopher Cody, Brandi, and Trace. Billy Ray is also known as PAX TV's Doc, Clint Cassidy. He has starred in several movies such as Radical Jack, Mulholland Drive, and Wish You Were Dead. Although he is mostly thought of as "that Achy Breaky guy", he has had several other albums full of wonderful songs, including the hits "In The Heart Of A Woman", "Words By Heart", "Some Gave All", "You Won't Be Lonely Now", "It's All The Same To Me", "Three Little Words", and "Busy Man". He now resides in Franklin, Tennessee on his farm Singing Hills. Billy Ray Cyrus is a top-rate performer who is 100% dedicated to his millions of loyal fans. I have been to close to 100 concerts of various artists, and his is the best I have ever seen. He truly loves what he does with all of his heart, and it strongly shows in his incredible work.
