Keith Urban is one of the fastest rising stars in country music today. He was born Keith Lionel Urban on October 26, 1967 in Whangarei, New Zealand to Bob and Marienne Urban. He was raised in Caboolture, Queensland, Australia, where he grew up listening to classic country like Charley Pride and Glen Campbell. In 1991, he released his first CD, which was self-titled. In 1992, Keith moved to Nashville, Tennessee and formed a trio called The Ranch. They broke up after releasing only one CD. After two years, Keith released a second self-titled solo CD, which has made him a star.
