Game one of Skid's season at Citi. APRIL 24th - GAME #22 vs St. Louis Cardinals (12-10)
Bartolo Colon (1-3) vs. Lance Lynn (4-0) as the Mets try to take the four game series from the Redbirds. Bobby Abreu is scheduled to start in the outfield for the Mets, his first in two years.

12-10

Bartolo Colon pitched a nice game, giving up only 4 hits and 1 run while striking out 8. Dice-K Matsuzaka pitched the ninth for his first career save. Chris Young hit a bomb to left for his first home run as a Met. Curtis Granderson got another hit today, a pinch hit single in the 7th that knocked in a run.

Today I only saw the final two innings on my phone while working. With such a lack of hitting by the Mets lineup I am amazed that they have a winning record of 12-10. It is the first time the Mets have been 2 games over .500 in over a year. Maybe, just maybe, good things can continue and the wins will pile up. Gotta believe.

IKE UPDATE: oh for 1
