41 year old Bartolo Colon pitched well for a win. 40 year old Bobby Abreu went 4 for 4 with two RBI's. Lucas Duda had two doubles. The Mets had eleven hits. What an abnormality for this team. A win against one of the few teams worse than the Mets. Old guys rule.
I didn't get to watch this game, I only saw some highlights on Sportscenter. My wife had a "Bunco" party at our house and I had to vacate the premises. So I went with my step father in law up to the foothills to Black Oak Casino and dropped a couple hundred bucks on some slot machines. We had a good time and I didn't have to drive, we were home around 11:00 pm. I didn't really miss watching the Mets.
