Game one of Skid's season at Citi. JUNE 25th - GAME #78 vs Oakland Athletics (47-30)
Zack Wheeler (3-7) goes against Brad Mills (0-0). The Mets have won three games in a row and scored double digits in two straight games.

36-42

What a difference a day makes. The A's returned the favor from yesterday's game and put a early 8-0 lead on the Mets. Late in the game home runs by Lucas Duda and Chris Young made the score closer but this one was over when Zack Wheeler got knocked out in the second inning. Curtis Granderson continues his climb back to respectable stats with three hits including a homer.

This game was not much fun to watch, especially having to watch the A's sports channel again. Everything the Mets did right in yesterday's win they did wrong in this loss. Listening to different broadcasters makes me appreciate Gary, Keith and Ron more and more. I would have been better off waiting until after 8:00 pm and watching SNY on MLB.tv but since it was a local broadcast what the heck. Plus I was sure someone would call or text me a score if I waited after the game was live.
