The Mets could not pull this one off and fall another game behind the Nationals. Lots of opportunities but none were successful. Another game to forget. A HR by Travis d'Arnaud, his 10th.
Still celebrating retirement, I missed the first few innings while in my garage. I watched as all the opportunities fell flat. Move on, Washington wins.
