Another loss to Washington and now the Mets are officially eliminated in the NL East. No offense. Jon Niese pitched well but took another loss.
I put the game on when I got home from church and laid down on the couch. I was really tired from staying up too late last night playing xbox and getting up early the last two mornings. I just watched the bottom of the innings as the Mets batted. Nothing happened. I fell asleep around the 6th or 7th and woke in the ninth to see another no run day for the Mets. I always hate this day every year. The day the Mets are eliminated from contention. And their chance for the wildcard will disappear this week too.
