My view from under the Pepsi Porch

Tonight's game was the least expensive ticket I had purchased for the whole season. I actually paid more for parking ($22) than my seat ($14) tonight. My seat was located just above the right field fence under the Pepsi Porch. The crowd was no way near 20,000 as the official count said. There were a lot of empty seats. Someone was sitting in my seat once the game started but there were plenty of seats available. I asked an usher if I could sit in the front of the section and had a great view behind right fielders Curtis Granderson and Giancarlos Stanton. Another great game and a Mets win!

Four games, four wins! I could get real used to this. So far I have sat in center field, behind the Mets dugout, in the upper deck, and at the right field fence. I've walked the stadium quite a few times checking things out. Most importantly which food booths and restrooms are the least likely to have long lines. The staff has been very friendly throughout Citi. It's still a little awkward being at the games by myself but once the game starts everyone has one goal: "Let's Go Mets!".

Maple Bacon on a Stick!

This was delicious! There is a smore's version too with chocolate and marshmallows, but I have not tried it. Yet. Everyone complains about ballpark prices and they are outrageous for some items. But it just comes with the territory. I made sure to budget for food so I could enjoy some of the many different food booths that are all over the stadium.

After the game a guy in his twenties hands me a Rusty Staub bobblehead box and says" "Do you want this? I don't want to carry it". I took it, making sure the box wasn't full of garbage, and it was Rusty! Free Swag!!
