Let's Go Mets! APRIL 19 - HOME GAME #7 vs Miami Marlins (3-9)

MATT HARVEY DAY!

The Metropolitan's Dark Knight returns to the mound to finish up the four game series with the Marlins. Matt Harvey (2-0) faces Matt Koehler (1-1).

10-3

Lets Go Mets! The Mets 8th straight win came with a cost. Hot hitting Catcher Travis d'Arnaud (.317 AVG 2 HR 10 RBI) has a broken bone in his hand after getting hit by a pitch. Reliever Jerry Blevins has a broken forearm after getting hit by a line drive in the top of the same inning. A huge 7 run fourth inning propelled Matt Harvey to tie teammate Bartolo Colon with 3 wins. A late rally by the Marlins came up short and gave the Mets a 4 game sweep of the fish. The Mets have matched the best start in franchise history at 10-3. They won their first seven home games for the first time in their team history. The Mets also started 10-3 in 1986 and 2006, years the Mets won division titles.

Ticket Cost: $113 inc. free buffet

View from the Hyundai Club

I sat in the Hyundai Club today, first level behind home plate. The owner's booth was right next to where I was sitting (I don't think he was there). There is a bar, restrooms, hot dog cart, ice cream freezer, salad bar, and a buffet with sliced ham, steak strips, rolls, soda, etc. all included with the ticket. I did not know this when I bought the tickets or I would have gotten a seat in this section for more games.

7th win at home celebration

I don't think I can describe how I feel today. When the Mets scored 7 runs in one inning, I was enamored with the idea of winning every game this week. This type of quick start to the season is historic, and for me to have been here for all seven wins is unimaginable. There is still alot of season to go. I told my wife if I had only arraigned to be here for this week and then had gone back home, I would say it was the best week ever. But I still have 74 more home games to go and a handful of road games. I am so up for this.

I love baseball cards
