Lets Go Mets! The Mets have not scored in 20 innings since Steven Matz was not in the starting lineup. Pitcher Steven Matz has more hits and RBI's this week than 1B Lucas Duda, more than CF Juan Lagares, more than SS Wilmer Flores and twice as many RBI's than Curtis Granderson. This offense is so offensive it's becoming a huge joke. And I am one of the less critical fans!

So let's highlight the pitching, Bartolo Colon went seven shutout innings yielding 3 hits and a walk with eight strikeouts. Good enough to win most days at the ballpark but not with this teams anemic bats.

Again great seats, we saw Darryl Strawberry to our left and John Franco to our right sitting near us but only for a short while as fans began to bother Darryl for selfies [RUDE!]. I forgot to mention that Sunday I got to shake the hand of Ed Charles who was the third baseman for the World Series Champion 1969 New York Mets.
