Lets Go Mets! The pathetic Mets hitting stirred a bit tonight. Only four hits tonight, starting with a first inning single from Michael Cuddyer. Lucas Duda homered in the 5th inning, his second in two nights. The Dark Knight became Batman as Matt Harvey hit his first career homer later in the same inning. Ruben Tejada finished the scoring with a homer in the 6th. Harvey struck out nine while walking four. This is the third straight series win since the Cubs swept the Mets at the beginning of July.

Is this the Mets ace?

I haven't mentioned food for a while. Today I had a pressed bacon cheese sandwich, which was pretty good. Deb had some fried Oreos, I had one but much like the bacon on a stick it is good but a little too much to eat and not exactly a health food.

I don't do as much roaming around the stadium as I normally do with my wife here. It's my exercise to try and balance out the ballpark items I have been consuming. Deb just gets bored walking around but I get to say hello to all the employees I've met during the year. We went over to Gloria [see game #15] before the game Friday to say hello and introduce her and Deb. I see Gloria often and always make a point to say hello. She is Citi royalty.
