I saw Pink Floyd perform THE WALL in LA in 1980. I say "perform" because while most bands I like rock-N-roll, the 'FLOYD' perform their style of music like no one else. Melodic music intermixed with sound effects that opens up your imagination while listening. The Wall concert set the standard for shows for me and it has never been toppped since. David Gilmour's 1984 solo tour and Floyd shows in 1987/1988 and 1994 were awesome but did not match the spectacle of the WALL performance.

What shall we do? ... to fill ... the empty ... spaces?

Shall we work straight through the night?

I have no absolute favorite Pink Floyd album, I like them all.
The top five would have to be:
(in no order!)

But that leaves out The Division Bell & The Final Cut. I guess I could have narrowed it to Shine On, Final Cut, & The Division Bell! I have some Floyd boots from the 75 tour & 77 tour and a three record set of The Wall live. I am more of a David Gilmour fan than Roger Waters. Maybe some day they will reunite.

HEY TEACHER!

Leave those kid's alone!
