Okay first of all, I must say. WHY ARE YOU READING THIS? lol Who cares who I am?! But...if you really are THAT bored, then go for it.
Well, I haven't updated this page in about 4 years so I figured it was time I should change it. Ya know, 4 years is a long time & sooo many things happen. OH WAIT. Nothing has changed in my life lol. I am 4 years older and my daughter is 4 years older, and that's about it! But for real. Not much has. So if you saw this before (which you couldn't have because your life could not possibly suck bad enough to want to read about some country music obsessed chick TWICE), it's gonna be pretty much the same.
THE BASICS: I'm 24 years old. Live in a suburb of Philly. Not the best place to be when you like country music. I still live with my parents, my daughter & her daddy. As for hobbies, it's mostly really silly stuff. Take a look at this site and you'll see I like to make charts and lists. I love going to concerts, singing karaoke, swimming & going to the beach. (Which I NEVER get to do!!) I like to drink, but I'm not really a club person cause I can NOT dance.(Not really flattering when you've been fat most of your life, but I HAVE lost 72 lbs so far on the atkins diet!)
Pretty much the most important thing to me is music. I can't play any instruments, or write songs, but regardless, I love it the same. Life's not always easy, and you gotta find something to get you through the bad times. For me it's music. In high school it was listening to Bon Jovi during my first period class because I did NOT wanna be there. (My teacher actually let me!! How cool was he?! Oh wait, then he made me go to the guidance counselor.) But since about '98 it has been country music. Funny thing is, I never liked country, didn't even know who George Strait was, and now it's all I listen to.
For the most part I don't always like the typical country singers. I have cd's by a lot of different people, but I don't really know a whole lot of music by the "legends". I pick up on a song now and then, or I'll hear a NEW artist cover an old song in concert, and that's when I learn it. My favorite band is Sons Of The Desert, which are technically not a band at this point. But as long as I can still play their old CD's, I think they'll stay my favorite. Their lead singer (Drew Womack) is starting his own thing now, so with any luck, I'll at least be hearing new music from him. NO THANKS TO RADIO!!!!!!!! (Sore spot.) My other favorites are Chris Cagle, Rhett Akins & Mark Wills. But I love sooo many artists that it's hard to name them all. But, what do I have to do tonight? NOTHING...so let me try!
MORE FAVORITES: Brad Cotter, Gary Allan, Chris Cummings, Paul Brandt, David Kersh, SHeDAISY, Jessica Andrews, Ty England, Emerson Drive, Brian McComas, Aaron Lines, George Canyon, Rascal Flatts
REALLY GOOD ARTISTS: Mindy McCready, Sherrie Austin, Kevin Sharp, Rick Trevino, Billy Ray Cyrus, Lila McCann, Bryan White, Gil Grand, Jason McCoy, Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban, Jeff Carson, Clay Walker, Jimmy Wayne, Sara Evans, Sean Patrick McGraw, Keith Harling, Montgomery Gentry, Phil Vassar, LeAnn Rimes, Lance Miller, Shannon Lawson, Martina McBride, Blackhawk, Brad Paisley
I guess I could go on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on. Ha! Count the "ons". Get it? LOL (By the way, love you Shane for making it okay to say REALLY dorky things!) But if I were to list every single singer I like a song by, then I would literally be sitting here all night. Most of the time, I like SOMETHING by everyone. There are a couple of people I just cannot stand, but even they surprise me once in a while. Other than country, which is what I want to hear almost 99.9% of the time, I mostly listen to 80's rock, and some newer pop music. Here are some of the ones I like the best.
80'S ROCK: Bon Jovi, Poison, Nelson, Warrant, Mitch Malloy, Danger Danger, Def Leppard, Skid Row, Slaughter, Firehouse, Winger, White Lion
POP: Backstreet Boys, O-Town, Westlife, BBMak, *N Sync, Mandy Moore, Kelly Clarkson, Britney Spears, Jessica Simpson, Gareth Gates, Nick Carter, Clay Aiken, Heinz Winckler, Nick Lachey
Hmmm. I think that about covers it. I mean, there's plenty more, but what's the fun in telling people EVERYTHING? And besides, who is gonna read this anyway? (HA HA YOU ARE!) Anyway, hope my silly charts, lists and pictures are interesting to someone, and if not, it doesn't matter. I mostly do this for myself. Kinda like a scrapbook? Well thanks for sitting thru this! See ya!
