Caroline is by far my favorite Corr. For me is it how
precisely, hard, but sure way she plays her instruments which are: The Drums;
the Bodhran, Bongos, Tambourine and as of all of The Corrs she can also play the
piano. Caroline has a beautiful smile, but you have to be lucky enough to catch
it first, one moment of this is on the MTV Unplugged DVD where after her Bodhran
solo and the audience claps she smiles then of which is beautiful, she enjoys
what she does. And she isn’t perfect, at the end of Runaway in Unplugged she
stuffs up the ending of the song on the piano.
One fact that I found very surprising was that she didn’t
learn the drums when she was growing up, all she had learnt was the piano. When
she reached the age of 18 she asked her boyfriend to show her some beats and
once she got confident enough with the drums she showed her expertise to her
siblings when they then incorporated into their newly-founded band. She has
become an expert in every one of her instruments that she started. In fact when
she began playing the Bodhran it was because she had told a friend that she
would like to learn it so her friend bought one for her and Caroline learnt how
to play it from a Video.
Caroline Corr was born on March 17 1973 to parents Jean and
Gerry Corr and was raised like all of the other Corrs in Dundalk, Ireland.
Caroline is the second youngest of the family and is the tomboy of the family.
Her star sign is Pisces, the fish and she is 5’4”. Caroline’s natural hair
colour is Brown and she has those very beautiful Blue eyes. Caroline has one bad
habit and that is pulling and playing with her hair! As seen throughout the MTV
Unplugged DVD, after songs she would have a drink and then start pulling at her
hair and playing with it but hey it makes her happy so let her be.
Caroline Corr likes people who are funny and charismatic
and dislikes people who cannot take a joke and make a mess with the toothpaste,
this means that Caroline enjoys a good laugh but doesn’t want it to get too
far. Also she says she likes to sniff her jumper and comments fast that it’s
not that crazy and she’s done that since she was three.
Caroline doesn’t like photo shoots too which is saddening
as she looks even more beautiful in the photo shoot shots. Caroline holds a
Drivers license and I haven’t heard about any accidents or speeding or
anything like that so she must be a good driver.
Caroline had
tried to start to learn instruments at a very young age of and the instrument
she was learning was the Violin. But this wasn’t successful; the teacher
scared Caroline so Sharon took the opportunity to learn the Violin. She’s very
outgoing and uncaring to the world I think because of her childhood things she
used to do that she still hasn’t outgrown, not that it is a bad thing.
She has said some nice and\or funny phrases on interviews
and what not, they are:
"Yeah,
I'm a girl and I need to be able to flick my hair every so often but I can't
when I'm playing!"
"You're
actually pretty lucky to get through a show without her (Andrea) making at least
one mistake."
"When
I was drumming with Mick Fleetwood I thought I looked half mad. I thought I
looked half crazy."
"How
do you say 'It's good to be home' in an American accent?"
“There's actually
14 in our family, but we disowned the others."
Caroline
since the start of The Corrs has been excellent, and this isn’t diminishing,
she plays those drums every so beautifully and you can tell this has become more
fun and she has become even more popular than she ever could have dreamed.
That way she plays her drums leaves everyone that sees her amazed.
