Musical Influences Now: I used to listen to bands like Metallica, Powermad, Annahilater, Apocrypha, Testiment and Cacaphony. Now I listen to instrumental style bands like Dream Theater, Fates Warning, Rush and Yes. I also like underground bands such as Lemur Voice, Tad Morose, Angra, Enchant, Stratovarious, Watchtower, Threshold, Timescape, Taramaze, Mayadome, Divine Regal, Hydrotoxin, Shadow Gallery and Veni Domine. Favorite Bassist: I don't have just one favorite bass player, I like alot of bass players for thier own style such as Stuart Hamm, Les Claypool, Jim LaVerde, David Harbour, Dave LaRue, Micheal Manring, Billy Sheehan, Wally Voss, Steve Harris, John Myung, Doug Pinnick, Victor Wooten, Rudy Sarzo, Geddy Lee, Chris Squier, Kevin Chown, John Alderette, Stanely Clarke and Bootsy Colins.. Bass Equipment: Juice Goose power conditioner, Korg rack tuner DTR-1, Peavey Bassfex with ProFex II foot controller, ensonic c/v pedal, BBE Sonic Maximizer 462, Peavey 20th anniversary CS800 power amp, and a Peavey 412TXF cabinet. Basses: Ibanez SB900 with EMG pick-ups and electronics. Ibanez SoundGear SR505 with EMG pick-ups and electronics, All-Parts bridge. Hobbies: Weight lifting and playing bass. When I can find time I also enjoy riding bicycles and playing golf. Comments: I've been around christians and christian music all my life. Growing up , my father played in a band with a preacher/guitar player - Jack Voss. Jack was a large influence on my spiritual walk. He showed me how important it is to revolve your life around Jesus. Christianty and music have become the very back-bone of who I am. Some people play music about sex, drugs, or satanism because that is where they stand. I stand for Jesus Christ.
