The Knockouts

The Knockouts are known for their non-stop, over the top, live performances and unforgettable songs with melodies and harmonies that will etch themselves into your brain. They are developing a reputation for being one of the most entertaining acts on both local and national circuits. In September 2000, David Divine (vocals), Andy Cane (bass), and Scotti (drums) came together to put a scar on the music industry as we know it. They took years of music industry experience, splashed it with the likes of The Beatles, Ramones and the Beach Boys, added some rock-a-billy roots and put their stamp on a sound known as The Knockouts. Within 3 months of forming, the band headlined it's first gig to a packed house at The Revolution in Cleveland Ohio. Gaining interest from out of town clubs, they began playing Cincinnati, New York, Pittsburgh and Detroit. In May of 2001, The Knockouts independently released their first CD “What a Freakin' Mess” and launched a web site, www.knockouts.cc. Soon after their first performance and the opening of the website, they sold out twice on all their merchandise. With the addition of keyboardist, Christian, The Knockouts are currently working on new material for their next release while maturing their commercial hard rock/pop sound. Along with the new CD, The Knockouts will also release a music video for the single “Freak Like You” involving fans and friends in a club setting. With every live performance, The Knockouts increase their fan base (gaining fans from over seas) , and boosting their ticket and merchandise sales. With a winning plan, The Knockouts are set to take on the world. They understand that it takes perspiration, dedication and inspiration to get the job done.
