Some Bands stand in the middle of the road. Some Bands choose to shout slogans or preach from their soapboxes. Some Bands don't give a shit, plain and simple. Victory Flag has been providing the soundtrack to miserable lives everywhere since 1997 and have built an army of loyal and fanatic followers all over. The reasons are simple: their wild, mayhemic shows, their unwavering commitment to the underground scene and their unwillingness to jump on bandwagons, be it musical or political. With their latest effort, "The Soundtrack To Your Miserable Life" on Sin Klub Entertainment, The Flag continues to offer new ideas and attitudes to the underground music scene. Because of this, the CD was voted "Best Regional CD" in the 2001 Cleveland Scene Readers' Poll. The band itself was voted "Best Regional Musicians" in the same poll and named in the top 5 Cleveland Bands by the editors of Music's Bottom Line. Gearing up to take their show on the road for the Summer 2002 "Magical Misery Tour", Victory Flag is out to show that it is their live set that remains a testament to their popularity and staying power.
