The unexplained
cancellation of the last few Irish dates of the lads mammoth UK tour
has sparked off rumours that the lads have been dropped and are
splitting up, as speculation of disbelief grew on the Official forum,
Sara Lord the lads manager posted a little message to clear the whole
mess up!
"Now,
all these rumours - well, all I need to tell you is, Toploader are NOT
splitting up, they are going back into the studio in January to demo
some new songs and are really looking forward to it."

2002 :
It's been a big year
for the lads, starting off with the recording and release of their
hugely anticipated second album, which went straight into the charts
at No:3 no less! 2002 also saw the lads playing live to millions at
The Queens Golden Jubilee Party At The Palace and the closing Ceremony
of The Manchester Commonwealth Games! Then to finish the year of
nicely they toured the length and breath of the country! As whole
their years been all bout the music just the way it should be!
