Joe Passes His
Driving Test
Joe has passed his
driving test second time round!! He took his test on Monday 19th
August, the same day Magic Hotel was released!! He will now be able
to drive his BMW which he has reportedly spent £50,000 on!!
Time Of My Life
Toploader's first
single from their second album Magic Hotel has entered the official
charts at number 18!! This position has earned them a slot on top of
the pops this Friday!!

The new single Time
Of My Life is now to be released
on 5th august and the album following on the 19th August. The single
will be fighting it out with these other new

Announce Uk Tour Dates
Toploader
have just announced a huge 43 date tour which will kick of
in early October and run up until early December. They will be
playing at a staggering 42 Venues!! Tickets are priced at
£17.50 (£19.50 with booking fee) They won't be playing at
their home town of Eastbourne!! Look in the tour
section for all the dates!!

The news we've
all been waiting for is finally here, Toploader's new Album
'At The magic Hotel' will be released on Monday 12th August.
No track listing details have been released yet, but rumours
are suggesting there are 11 tracks.

New
Single - Time Of My Life!!
The new single
'Time Of My Life' is to be released on Monday 29th July, and
has already been described as 'the' single of summer!! It was
recorded in Los Angeles, and produced by George Drakoulias the
man who produced Dancing In The Moonlight, and we all know how
big a hit that was!! The single will be released in 2cd
formats and also a DVD, a first for the loader lads!!

Hotel Secret Gigs!!
To
celebrate their new single and album Toploader have hosted
three secret gigs, the gigs were at: 23rd
- Glasgow, 26th - London,
27th - Manchester. A total of six new tracks were played at
these intimate invite only venues, including 'Lady Let Me
Shine', 'Never Forgotten', 'Stupid Games', 'Only Desire',
'Following The Sun' and old b-side favourite 'Cloud 9' was
also played. With only a few weeks till Toploader's long
awaited second album's release these gig's have had the lucky
competition winners all in a spin!!

Play For the Queen!!
To celebrate
HRH the Queen's Golden Jubilee Toploader went along to her
Garden party and played Dancing In The Moonlight!! Despite the
pressure of performing to millions of people all around the
world Toploader did themselves proud and were one of the first
acts to get everyone really into that party mood!! |

We've
Been Toploadered!!
Toploader's
lead guitarist, Julian Deane paid us a visit, and the friendly
little chap left a note on the message board to let us all
know!! And as if that isn't exciting enough, he commented that
they've just finished in the studio and are heading off to LA
to add the finishing touches to the new album!! How he
found his way here is a mystery, possibly whilst taking the
tour bus for a spin!!
He
also spotted a mistake (whoops!) I'll try and fix that soon!! |

Dan
And Gail Expecting A Baby!!
Gail Hipgrave
has confirmed that she is seven weeks pregnant and will be
expecting the newly wed couple's first baby in August around
the time of their first anniversary!! It is thought that
they would have rather kept the news private as Gail is only
seven weeks and still in the early stages of their pregnancy,
but due to speculation the couple decided to confirm the
pregnancy. A friend of the couple's said that Dan had been
keen to start a family, and was talking about having a baby
before they went on honeymoon!! A spokesman for the couple has
said that the couple are "very delighted" with the
news. |
