Soul Less Divine emerged in April of 1998. The debut demo release entitled "Malevolent Withered Grind" was released in July of 1999. The demo received good reviews and gave SLD a strong London fanbase. Up to this point, however, SLD saw countless lineup changes, and more would follow. July 2001 saw the release of the band's second demo "Blasted with Disgrace". Once again though, lineup changes hindered the band and SLD went almost one year playing as a two piece (drums, guitar and vox). However, summer 2002 finally saw the upcoming of an excellent new bass player and shortly after, new vocals stepped up to the mic. SLD plans to record their first full length album in December of 2002 (temporarily titled "Summoning the Slaves of Worship".
