Crimson Thunder (Nuclear Blast~2002)
I am playing "Crimson Thunder" again as I write, which makes typing difficult because I keep having this urge to join the band on both air guitar and air drums. This upbeat, infectious power metal, which is so skillfully produced and executed, should bring a smile to any metal fan´s face. You´re not going to find anything groundbreaking structurally, lyrically or sonically, but you will find a professional release of the highest class. I love the sound overall, especially the guitar tone. One of the highlights is "In Memoriam", a beautiful instrumental with great lead guitar. I also like the lead vocals, but can do without some of the gang chorus vocals.
