Killer (Iron Glory~2002)
I believe several bands have gone by the name Rellik. This is a compilation release from the San Francisco band of the 80s and contains every track the group recorded. Taken from an EP and two demos, the material is awesome. Since the newest tracks were recorded in 1990, the sound quality isnīt perfect, but is good enough to allow the music to shine through. The songs are raw yet catchy and are performed with skill and emotion. The high-pitched vocals are delivered, and sometimes screamed, with power and flare. The bass has a prominent role in the music. Add in screaming guitars and this is vintage metal heaven, reminding me strongly of old Judas Priest.
