Stormwarrior (Remedy~2002)
This German band storms on the scene with its full-length debut, which is loaded with fast-paced metal anthems. A powerful sound, melodic songs and energetic performances make this perfect to satisfy a craving for good old-fashioned, fist-pumping heavy metal. There´s nothing new here, either lyrically or musically, but these guys obviously have no intention of reinventing the metal wheel. The music has leather and chains written all over it. My only complaint is a lack of a variety as it almost sounds like one long song. But still, for what it is, this is a quite impressive debut.
