Diary of Progress...
Hello & Welcome to the "Diary of Progress!" or lack of... Here I mark all our my-nute accomplishments. See everytime 'Black Water' does something new we add it to our little list down below (you see it don't you?)and that's how we & you know something's actually getting done with this little project. Now this is only month two, so there isn't much to look at yet. As no one can remember the day the idea of 'Black Water' came up and got put into action, we are all in agreement is was sometime last month. So, there you are.. now go look at the list and click the links cause that's what they are there for.
YEAH!!! We Did Something :)
- May - 2003: The idea of wanting a way to support the local music scene came about & the work to create a way begin.
- May - 2003: The name 'Black Water Music Association' became official & up popped our Website.
- May - 2003: The posting of music began as the current free & legal (to avoid trouble and to keep our stuff from getting pulled.) 'Local Bands by Name' link list went up.
- May or June? - 2003: The idea doing 'Music Review' came about and got put into play with our two current reviews posted on 'Allison with One' & 'Christoffer Welteson' both by contributing writer Mickale.
- June 2003: We strayed a little from review in effort to make music more part of this website and posted several pages of downloadable midi.
- June, 16 - 2003: It was decided the addition of midi was nice but not nearly enough and the idea of making a complete genre song menu came about and got put into action starting with the Alternative parent genre.
- June, 18 - 2003: The parent directory 'Alternative Song Menu' got posted with things to come and links to the also new 'Goth MP3 Song List', 'Goth Rock MP3 Song List' and 'Gothic Atlanta' pages. Gothic Atlanta was a last minute idea, but seemed to have worked out.
- July, 1 - 2003: Posted the 'Black Water Hall of Fame' and the first artist ever to grace these walls and be chosen as 'Black Water's #1 Pick of the Month' is
- July, 8 - 2003: Posted Royal 7 Interview (2pgs)
- July, 8 - 2003: Posted New and Improved Home Page! We're so proud.
