Ok here's the meaning of Cloacae, I hate giving all this away and shit, but whatever:
This song was written by me: Shift244 back in mid 2002. I had been watching the crocodile hunter, and suddenly had this idea when I heard him use the term Cloacae. That's where the song title came from and the concept of figuring out a sex by sticking your finger in a reptiles cloacae.
I'll explain by each section: this first verse basically meant that people are always leading you in a certain direction. If you're female, you do a certain thing, a way of life. If you're male you're not supposed to do similar things to what a female does, such as paintnails and get earrings. That's what I meant by "wanna put a sex trait on everything". "Rock isn't the same as sand, but each the same in their way." just basically means that a rock is bigger then sand, but in truth sand is just a broken up rock. This is similar to how people aren't all exactly the same. I just hate when people act as if I have to do everything the way they want. The line "tell me i'm lame, a fucking fag, no one is the same" isn't a rip on homosexuals, it's a phrase of saying that just because I do things you consider to be girlish, does not make me gay, lame or anything else. I'm still a human and that's all that matters.

As for the chorus and bridge part, the term /A/ just stands for all the fashion cloths such as American Eagle, etc. "Born naked die in shame" just means what it says, you get buried in clothing that quite possibly is fashion related and I always feel if you were born with no 'fashion' why do you need to die with an image. As for the rest, it's pretty simple "blue/pink" part refers to sex typed ways. The only line "cloacae makes it harder to trait" means that you don't know if it's male or female until you check, and that's too bad that humans are so sex oriented. As for the rest of the song, it goes along the same lines, fashion warps people. Just be what YOU want to be, that's the meaning behind this song. There you have it, from the mouth of the writer;).
