Phyllis Triolo High School Music Competition
The The 24th annual Phyllis
Triolo High School Music Competition will be held
on Saturday, May 16th, 2009 at Penn State Music
Building I, Esber Recital Hall in two divisions
-- Jr. Division (grades 7-9) starts at 7:45 AM
and Sr. Division (grades 10-12) starts at 1:40
PM.
Phyllis Triolo, a CPMTA
member for many years, concert
pianist-lecturer, and teacher passed away on
July 13, 1984. In her memory, the CPMTA has
established a fund for a high school music
competition. Open to talented vocal, piano, and
instrumental students in grades 9-12, the
competition has been held for 20 years.
