All about Dj Flurk ~
Born in D.C. Grew up in VA, Alexandria/Springfield area, right on the border of D.C. and Virginia.
Good friends of mine in VA introduced me to the DJ genre of music. I fell in love with Drum and Bass. And I couldn't get enough of it.
One of my good friends had an older brother who spun records, who is very talented. We would chill at his house, where the Technic's, Jbl's, Records, and a variety of computer programs were used every day. He spun and I watched for quite some time.
I had played guitar for about 5 or 6 years at the time, and hadn't touched them in a good amount of time. I saved up my money and traded in a Gibson Bass, towards store credit. Got myself some tables and all the necessary hardware I could afford.
Messed around for awhile.....Kept on keepin' on. Spent alot of crazy dillusional nights stuck on my computer. Bought records here and there. Found more DJ's that I developed a likeing.to.
Blah, blah, blah. Decided to really put out some effort. Hopefully for the best. A few blurry years went by. I moved to Florida. Discovered the DJ genre of music thats flowin' here; House, Breakz, Techno, and Trance, mainly. And it became clear to me that I was more of a Drum and Bass person than a House one.
Don't get me wrong, I do like House, Trance, Techno, and Breakz.. But my roots are Dark Drum and Bass, and Jungle. What can I say. I'm bringin what I've learned in D.C. to Florida. So I hope thay you like whats comming. Because it's hot, and it's pure.
So here I am.
