On the left beneath that black box is a standard four cylinder engine. On the right is the “Hybrid Technology” In other words it is the computer that tells the car when to use what energy and so forth. We think this packed engine compartment looks like a minivans but you be the judge.

While this picture doesn't do the true clarity and visibility of the Prius LCD justice it is that perfect size of not too big and not too small. Every display is very easy to view and the included touch screen makes it a sinch to navigate. While you aren't changing the temperature in your car or surfing the radio stations the Prius LCD screen keeps you entertained by animating the energy transfer from the engine and battery to the drive train. You will always know if you are running just on the battery or both the battery and the engine. The screen also depicts the energy that is absorbed from the brake friction and is put back into the battery.
