4 TUNE FAIRYTALES are the dutch producers Tricky Ricky and P. Bakker. The group contained a rapper, 2 dancers and a female singer called Lilian Van Sonsbeek. The lyrics were also written by Lilan Van Sonsbeek. It is said that they chose their name because of the song "Fairytales" by 2 BROTHERS ON THE 4TH FLOOR which was a big hit in the Netherlands just before the group started.
Their first song to be released was "My Little Fantasy" in summer 1996. It entered the Dutch Top 50 single charts and was featured on many dance compilations.
Their second single "Take Me 2 Wonderland", released in the end of 1996, also reached the Dutch Top 50 single charts. But it was less successful than "My Little Fantasy".
The group appeared on the Dancefestival Mysteryland at Eindhoven, were they also played a song called "Another Day With You", but the next single "Ding A Dong", they released in 1997, failed and the group was not heard of ever since.
In 2005 there was in the UK a compilation released which contained a song called "Feels Like Ecstasy" by 4 Tune Fairytales. This song turned out to be a remix of "My Little Fantasy". The compilation is maybe an unofficial release.
