Abba
Father
Abba Father, Abba
Father
Deep within my soul I
cry
Abba Father, Abba
Father
I will never cease
to love You.
Father, Father,
Jehovah Shammah,
You are the One Who's
standing near.
Abba Father, Abba
Father
I will never cease to
love you.

Faith
is not belief without proof,
but
trust without reservation.
I
know whom I have believed,
and
am persuaded that He is able
to
keep that which I have committed
Unto
Him against that day.
1
Timothy 1:12
During
the terrible days of the Blitz in World War II,
a
father--holding his young daughter by the
hand--ran from a building that had been struck by
a bomb. In the Front yard was a large hole
left by a shell explosion several days
before. Seeking shelter as quickly as
possible, the father jumped into the hole and then
held up his arms for his young daughter to follow.
Terrified
at the explosions round her and unable to see her
father in the darkness of the hole, she cried,
"I cant see you, Papa!"
the
father looked up against the sky that was light
with white tracer lights and tinted red by burning
buildings and called to his daughter, who was
standing in silhouette at the hole's edge,
"But I can see you, my darling. Jump!"
The
little girl jumped...not because she could see her
father, but because she trusted him to tell her
the truth and to do what was best for her.
We may
not be able to discern clearly what it is our
Heavenly Father is leading us, but we can trust it
is to a good place. We may not know what God
has "up His sleeve," but we can trust
His arms to be everlasting.
