BALLAD OF THE NEW DISCOVERY
Another ship upon the sea
Christened the New Discovery
Her decks deserted, lashes free
She frolicked on the waves.
And as the stars came out to sing
The moon arose without her ring
Three sailors woke to a calling
And found themselves alone.
Within three cabins warm and dark
Three souls awoke and felt the spark
Opened their doors upon this ark
And found the love they’d bring,
and felt the love they’d bring
Said one “Our course is set to go,”
“The ship is already a-flow”
“We need only to learn and grow”
The others did agree, the others did agree.
And so they sailed on through the night
Till dawn exploded with it’s might
And all their dreams were just in sight
