What exactly is heat energy
Heat energy is made up of 5 diffrent energys out there. You can make heat energy using light, mechanical, electric, chemical, and sound energy. To define heat energy you first need to define heat. Everything has heat in it. Heat is moving matter. The hotter something is The faster the matter moves. Heat energy is using work to make a change in something. Potential energy for heat would be like you have the ability to light a lighter but you don't. Kinetic energy is when you have a lighter in the proccess of having a fire out. This is what heat energy is.
