The "It's All About Me" Bass

Fred's bio:

         This New Jersey native lived in Washington, DC for many years and has been in San Francisco since 1995.  Trained as a botanist, Fred has had a number of interesting careers.  Currently he is a project assistant in the UCSF anal neoplasia study, where he works with a team of dedicated clinicians studying butts for a living.

        Fred’s musical aptitude appeared early in life.  At the age of four he would stand in front of the record player, conducting for hours at a time.  A background in instrumental music (piano, French horn, and violin) eventually led him to find his voice in the Lesbian and Gay Chorus of Washington, DC, and he’s been singing his heart out ever since.   He has sung in several other choruses and small ensembles, including DC’s Not What You Think and San Francisco’s Jungle Red.   Fred gives music lessons and would be happy to help you find your voice, too.  Feel free to contact him via email or by phone at (415) 821-0674.
