20.04.2003 RUSH OF BLOOD TO THE HEAD BACK UP TO NUMBER ONE!

Coldplay peak again after 32 weeks on the official UK album chart. Rush Of Blood hit the number one spot 8 months ago in it's first week of release. It has been steadily rising over the past few weeks due to appearances and success at recent awards ceremonies and the release of Clocks. It had reached number 2 on 2 occasions in the month. Last week The White Stripes kept them off the top spot, but largely due to their 2 UK sell out dates, the album sales rose enough to ease it up to pole position.

16.04.2003 EARLS COURT GIG TONIGHT AND TOMORROW

Monday night's show in Manchester was the first of their 3 sold out UK dates. It was very similar to their last tour with just a few changes. Shiver has been dropped from the set while others have been added including a new song. Yellow is now performed with Chris just singing and his guitar duties have been passed on to the trusty guitar tech who plays off stage. This gives Chris further chance to leap around and interact with the audience. The show kicks off around 7.15 with Ian McCulloch. Feeder follow at 8.15 and Coldplay will take to the stage at 9.15.
