The novel that started it all: Gaston Leroux's The Phantom of the Opera. As nice as the other versions may be, poor unhappy Erik is number one with me, always. ---Empy
My absolute favorite version is Robert Englund's. The part where he kills the guy by squishing his head with a towel in the spa? ROCK.
