Phillipe de Chagney -- he was both, kind & loving yet unfair and overshadowed, I think. I'm sorry that this character tends to be dropped from the story by most adaptatians. He could have proven to be very interesting, I think, especially in showing how far Raoul was willing to go to have Christine. ---Empy
