- Feb. 13, 2005 - Frantic Bleep Part Ways With Drummer

Norway's FRANTIC BLEEP have parted ways with drummer Sten Svendheim. "His decision to leave the band was due to musical differences, concerning FRANTIC's new musical direction and that he felt that the band consumed too much of his time," the band write on their web site. "The remaining FRANTIC members have allready found a worthy replacement and are moving fast forward with its new line-up. Names of new members will be revealed shortly."

FRANTIC BLEEP's debut album, "The Sense Apparatus", was released in Europe last week via Elitist Records. A track from the album, entitled "...But a Memory", has been made available for download at this location.

FRANTIC BLEEP were founded in November 2001 by Patrick Scantlebury (guitars, synth), Øyvind Sundstrøm (guitars) and Karl Arthur Renstrøm (drums). The group immediately started to write music, and in November 2002 they recorded four songs for their first (and only) demo CD, called "Fluctuadmission". During the recording, MADDER MORTEM's Paul Mozart Bjørke (vocals, bass) joined the group as a studio member.
