Chicago's experimental hardcore/metal band YAKUZA will enter Volume studios (PELICAN, VENOMOUS CONCEPT) in Chicago this week with producer Matt Bayles (ISIS, MASTODON, PEARL JAM) to begin recording the follow-up to 2002's critically acclaimed CD "Way of the Dead" (Century Media). 10 new songs, as well as a few longer, improvisational pieces, will be recorded during the session. It has yet to be determined if the recordings will be issued as a double-CD or two separate releases.
