UNHEARD, the new band formed by ex-ATHEIST/NEUROTICA singer/guitarist Kelly Shaefer and former BURIAL frontman Mike Callahan, have completed work on their debut record at Southern Sound Studios in Florida. Titled "On My Way to the Sun", the album was produced by Shaefer and UNHEARD, and was mixed by Doug Kaye. The 10-song CD will initially be released this spring through the band's web site (via the group's own Starrfactory Records) while distribution is sorted out.

"The guitars are just fucking nasty and in your face," Shaefer said of he album. "The music is just huge!! The vocals are like no one I have ever heard. Callahan did an amazing job. I would not have stepped off the mic to guitar if he was not the shit!"
