Danish metallers BEYOND TWILIGHT have inked a U.S. deal with Nightmare Records for the release of their new album, "Section X" (as well as "The Devil's Hall of Fame", which until now only has been available in USA through import). An April release is expected.

"After the success of 'The Devil’s Hall of Fame' in 2001 with a worldwide overwhelming response, this album is again a real progressive metal masterpiece," reads a press release. "New vocalist Kelly Sundown Carpenter [from the Texas power/progressive metal band OUTWORLD] has really done an outstanding job on 'Section X', compared to the successor the songs are much more varied and are telling a conceptual story."

BEYOND TWILIGHT recently shot a video for one of the new songs in Copenhagen. The video is extremely dark and gloomy — totally befitting the concept of BEYOND TWILIGHT. Besides portraying the band, the video also features British model Morrigan Hel, who has been showcased in various videos, magazines and on album covers, such as CRADLE OF FILTH's "From the Cradle to Enslave".

In related news, Replica recording artists OUTWORLD have begun tracking their debut self-titled CD at Houston's Spyder Studio for a September release date. In addition to Carpenter, OUTWORLD also features guitarist Rusty Cooley, who has successfully established himself as a solo artist with one album out on Lion Music, as well as appearances with "Book of Reflection" and tributes to Shawn Lane and Jason Becker.
