In the summer of '95, the world witnessed the birth of a new horror: the Belgian hacksquad ABORTED, founded by Sven. It took 'till the summer of '97 to find some serious & motivated butchers in Niek (guitar) & Steven (drums). In this line-up some gigs were done with several foreign acts.

After this the band welcomed Koen (bass); which led to the recording of the first offering called: "The Necrotorous Chronicles". Aborted got a deal from Burt of Uxicon Records for the first full length... A short time passed when Christophe was recruted as second guitarist & new tunes were written. Some more concerts were done and after that drummer Steven was replaced by the inhuman death scourge Frank, due to Steven's huge lack of motivation.

Aborted entered the studio's in February '99 for the recordings of "The Purity Of Perversion" and was unleashed in May '99. The reactions were really great and the sales optimal.

Right before entering the new millenium, the hacksquad entered the studios once more to record 3 new brutal & sick tracks for a split CD with Christ Denied which was released on Soulreaper Records in March 2000. This split release got the band a 3 record-deal with the french based Listenable Records. The bands second full length saw light under the title of 'Engineering The Dead', released in late June 2001. For this recording a better budget was available and this can be heard on the Engineering disc.

In 2002 new songs were delivered for a split CD on Bones Brigade ('Created To Kill') and many tours are scheduled for later this year. The next full length for Listenable Records should be recorded summer 2002, so keep your diapers ready, as it’s going to be hella extreme!
