-The Bubonic Plague-

Around April/June 2003 during a concert of the band Blood, in the Q-bus, Pieter, Arendo and Gijs got the idea to revive the The Beer project. During a practice session the idea arose to cover the BURIED BY THE DEAD song from Bloodbath. By doing this song they also wanted to recreate the Swedish sound. After choosing some more covers hard work was done to write some own songs, and the band Bubonic Plague was born. After rehearsing a while without a bass player they found the appropriate bass player in Ronald (ex Detonator). Now in 2004 they found their groove to create heavy pummeling Swedish Death Metal. Influenced by Fleshcrawl, Bloodbath and Dismember they unleash their fury upon the audience. Bubonic Plague may not be the most original band, but for fans of Swedish Death Metal this is the place to look!
