ILL-NATURED was created by Emil in the fall of 1999. At that time he was alone and recorded a tape called 'Impetuous'. This extremely raw recording was only given away to those (only one..) who were truly interested.
Sometime around August of 2000, Emil recruited Rikard on drums, and they started working on the second opus 'Armed'. This one featured a cover on BATHORY's 'Die in fire' and gave them a little recognition in their local area but the distribution was poor..
In May of 2001 they recorded the track 'Fuckfanatic' to be included on their next release 'Die by the axe'. They were not all together satisfied with how it turned out though, and the project was put on ice for a little while. When Emil got himself some new recording equipment they brought ILL-NATURED back to life again and re- recorded 'Fuckfanatic' along with 6 other tracks for the 'Die by the axe' release. One of them was the legendary 'Circle of the tyrants' by CELTIC FROST! With this tape they got great response from the underground!
