Nihilst can be seen as one of the most influential bands from Sweden ever and certainly as the band that got bands like Dismember and Entombed going. The band got formed in 1987 in Stockholm and displayed as the first band what later would gain the name the 'Skogsberg sound'. In their existence they recorded and released three demo-tapes (which are - still - commonly traded in the underground scene). They split up in 1989 again and shortly after some of the members formed Entombed.
