T. Lynn Smith is a highly anointed evangelist, teacher, and
psalmist. She has the ability to
identify and substantively address musical deficiencies and worship styles. While
doing so, she simultaneously motivates worshipers to make a positive difference.
The Churches of God in Christ, psalmist, is the Executive Director of Expressmi
Music and the CEO/President of Real Solutions of Georgia, Inc., a consulting
firm. She is one of the Regional Music
Coordinators for the Southeast Region (Georgia, Florida, North
Carolina
and South
Carolina) for
the National Music Department. In addition, she is the Regional Praise &
Worship Coordinator for the International Mission and Evangelism Departments. T. Lynn assisted the late Mother Anna C. Ford
as the music coordinator for the Women’s International Department of
Music. Furthermore, she serves as the
Regional Music Coordinator for the International Sunshine Band, the Children’s
Arm of the Church of God in Christ. On the
state level, T. Lynn has served as the State Minister of Music/President for
Central Georgia Jurisdiction. On the
local level, T. Lynn serves as the Minister of Worship & Arts for the New
Hope Church of God In Christ where Dr. G. LaMarr Howard (father) and Dr. Lytia
R. Howard (daughter) serve as pastors. T.
Lynn is a licensed National Evangelist in the Church
of God in Christ.
T. Lynn has served as the State Minister of Music for
Illinois-Sixth Jurisdiction and Minister of Music for the Mt. Olive COGIC in
the Chicago land area. As a
result of her outstanding music expertise, she was chosen to serve as a
National Songwriter, Director and Instructor for the Churches of God in Christ
under the direction of the late Dr. Mattie Moss Clark. Moreover, to her credit she has coached
famed secular singer Carl Thomas and has shared vocal training and ministry
with many outstanding gospel artists.
She has also collaborated compositionally with some of gospel music’s
greatest: Percy Bady, Carlis Moody,
Darrius Brooks, and Pastor Donald Alford and Progressive Life Giving Word
Cathedral church choir to name a few.
T. Lynn is a 1996 graduate of the Interdenominational Theological Center where she earned a Master of Arts Degree in Church Music
(MACM). Smith is also a Graduate of
National-Louis University where she earned a Master of Science Degree in
Business and Management (MSBM). Smith is
also a graduate of North Central College where she earned Bachelor of Arts Degrees (BA) in Music and
Humanities. T. Lynn is currently working
on her Doctorate in Administrative Management
