Blast Off!!!!!!!!!!

This is 3 graphics I put together to make this little tag...if you have a better mouse or graphic to place on the rocket, please feel free to use it, that is why I left an extra rocketThis tut is written in PSP 7 but I have tried to make adjustments for PSP 9 users

Let's begin

Rocket Template

Open your template in PSP....open your font and shrink it to taskbar.. duplicate the cat layer and close off the original

Close off all layers except the bottom layer...add a new layer and name it wall... with your selection tool set at square....draw a selection around the cat at the bottom, and make sure you get it so the cat is resting on the wall

Bring this selection all the way across the canvas and down to the bottom....flood fill this with the brick in your patterns of the flood fill bucket..... ...let's make it look real...go to effects....texture....texture ...and choose the brick #4...I used these setting but you can play with them if you like...select none

PSP 9 users, extract the brick pattern to your pattern folder in PSP9... set the scale to 110...angle set at 0

Effects...texture...texture with above settings

Add a new layer and name this layer text.....click on the text tool...size set at 72... stroke set at null...fill set at white.....line set at 1......floating and antalias checked...type your name and place it in the middle just uner the cat.... effects....texture...sculpture...I used the same brick but you may want to use another colour....effects...drop shadow with these settings..

Select none

Let's add a border, I do like borders.... add new layer....selections...select all....selections....modify...contact by 8.... selections ....invert......flood fill with your brick pattern.... add the sculptue effect you added to the brick... selections select none...re name this border...looking good!

PSP 9 users, add another layer and flood fill with white...re name background and leave this layer open always

One more little preparation before we begin....if you are not using my mouse close off all the layers except the rocket and your graphic....merge these 2 layers and re name rocket

Duplicate the rocket layer......image mirror and close off the copy

1)Now we can start....open the cat...paws....wall ....frame and text layers...edit...copy merged.... open animation shop...right click and paste as new animation

PSP9 users just have to make the rocket layer active and lasso the rocket...click to tgihten ants.... hold down the shift key and use the arrows to move it

2) Open the rocket...with the rocket layer the active layer....click the de form too and move the rocket back to the right hand side to almost off the canvas with just the nose showing.....apply..... edit...copy merged... open animation shop....right click on last frame and paste after current frame..

3)Make the rocket layer active and move it over about 4 squares to the left... edit...copy merged....in animation shop...click on last frame paste after current frame

4)Make the rocket layer active and move it over aother 4 squares... to the left... edit...copy merged....in animation shop...click on last frame paste after current frame

5)Make the rocket layer active and move it over another 4 squares to the left... edit...copy merged....in animation shop...click on last frame paste after current frame

6)Make the rocket layer active and move it over a little more to the left...Just about the cats first ear.....click on the cat layer.....click on deform tool and move the cat down about 2 squares.. edit...copy merged....in animation shop...click on last frame paste after current frame

7)Make the rocket layer active and move it over about 4 squares.....click on the cat layer..... click on deform tool and move the cat down about 2 more squares.. edit...copy merged....in animation shop...click on last frame paste after current frame

8)Make the rocket layer active and move it over about 4 squares.......click on the cat layer..... click on deform tool and move the cat down about 2 more squares.. edit...copy merged....in animation shop...click on last frame paste after current frame

9)Make the rocket layer active and move it over about 4 squares.. .. we are taking it off the canvas now..... turn off the copy of cat layer......... edit...copy merged....in animation shop...click on last frame paste after current frame

10)Make the rocket layer active and move it over about 4 squares........ edit....copy merged....in animation shop.. .right click on last frame and paste after current frame

11)Make the rocket layer active and move it over 4 more squares...1/2 off the canvas now.... .....open the cat layer...with your de form tool move the cat up so his eyes are showing.... edit....copy merged....in animation shop.. .right click on last frame and paste after current frame

12)Make the rocket layer active and move it over more.....just the stars should be showing... with your de form tool move the cat up about 2 squres... so he is 1/2 showing........ edit....copy merged....in animation shop.. .right click on last frame and paste after current frame

13)Turn off the rocket layer.... ...move the cat up to his original position... edit....copy merged....in animation shop.. .right click on last frame and paste after current frame

14)OPen the copy of rocket layer.... With the copy of the rocket layer the active layer.... with your de form tool...bring it to the left hand side of the canvas..... so just the nose is showing....edit...copy merged...in animation shop....right click on last frame and paste after current frame.....

15)With the rocket layer the active layer.....move it over about 4 squares.....edit... copy merged...in animation shop ...right click on last frame... paste after current frame

16)With the rocket layer the active layer.....move it over about 4 squares..... edit... copy merged...in animation shop ...right click on last frame... paste after current frame

17)With the rocket layer the active layer.....move it over about 4 squares.... ...with the cat layer the active layer....and using the de fom tool move him down a about 2 squares....edit... copy merged...in animation shop ...right click on last frame... paste after current frame

18)With the rocket layer the active layer.....move it over about 4 squares.... ...with the cat layer the active layer....and using the de fom tool move him down another 2 squares....edit... copy merged...in animation shop ...right click on last frame... paste after current frame

19)With the rocket layer the active layer.....move it over about 4 squares.... ...turn off the cat layer ...edit... copy merged...in animation shop ...right click on last frame... paste after current frame

20)With the rocket layer the active layer.....move it over about 4 squares.... ...turn the cat layer on....and using the de fom tool move him up 2 squares so ears are showing......edit... copy merged...in animation shop ...right click on last frame... paste after current frame

21)With the rocket layer the active layer.....move it over about 4 squares.... ...with the cat layer the active layer....and using the de fom tool move him up about 2 more squares.......edit... copy merged...in animation shop ...right click on last frame... paste after current frame

22)With the rocket layer the active layer.....move it over about 4 squares.... ...with the cat layer the active layer....and using the de fom tool move him right up into his original posititiont...edit... copy merged...in animation shop ...right click on last frame... paste after current frame

23) Close off the copy of rocket layer.........edit... copy merged...in animation shop ...right click on last frame... paste after current frame

Whew!!!!!!!!!! That was a long one but a fun one

In Animation shop...edit...select all...animation frame properties set at 20

Right click an frame 1...frame properties set at 100.... click on frame.....12...animation properties set at 100... right click on last frame....animation properties set at 100
