This is a story I wrote a while ago, and I've been working on it ever since. It's a tragic story, very emotional. A tragedy hits the Jellicles, and Mungojerrie is sure it's his fault. Is it really? Or is it just the Mystical Divinity teaching all the cats a lesson in life?
Chapter 1: Thunder and Headlights ~ A crack of thunder and a pair of headlights, in a few horrible seconds, takes the life of two cats. One death, one heartbreak.
Chapter 2: Moonlight ~ Defensive, crazed, and lonely, Mungojerrie is bombarded by self-accusations as his one true love is taken away from him forever. Left alone, with no one who truly understands, he tries to understand why this tragedy has happened.
Chapter 3: Reminiscing ~ Mungojerrie is restless after the past few days, and his mind wanders back to the memories he had when he was younger, the memories he had with his sister. He seems to slip back into the past, with no acknowledgment between reality and memory.
Chapter 4: Jemima ~ Out of touch with reality, Mungojerrie is left alone, trying to deal with his loss. But, when Jemima tries to help him, Jerrie loses himself completely. Letting out his anger, Jerrie thinks everyone hates him now and runs off, thinking it's better to disappear then to face his friends. *Author's Note*: This story contains a bit of graphic content, and I am just warning you now, it may not be suitable for younger children. Just a warning for you all. Thank you.
Chapter 5: Dagger of Death ~ Deciding ending his sorrow is better than living with it, Mungojerrie is determined to end his life. Will he go through with it?
My Beliefs About Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer ~ These are my beliefs about the twins and their relationship. Please read this, as I do not wish to get any nasty letters in my mailbox.
