THE OUTSIDE WORLD

The outside world of CATS is when CATS is mentioned in shows, books, etc.

-In an episode of "Hey Arnold", a kid's show on Nickelodeon, one of the characters, Helga Patacki, tries to bond with her dad. While she is sleeping he sees an add in her hand. One one side it is for a Wrestling match she is dying to see. And on the other side it is an add for the musical "RATS"! In the moring her father tells her that he has got the tickets for the show she is dying to see. But when they get there Helga is surprised with dismay. They go in and watch it. Of course they both hate it and make fun of it. But I say they really don't need to, the cartoon itself makes fun of CATS tremendously! This epeisode of "Hey Arnold" may not be the best way to honor our fav musical, but it is hilarious!-

-In the comedy "Caroline in the City" Caroline's best friend, Annie, is in the Broadway production of CATS. Hummm...I wonder which cat she was?-

-In an episode of Frasier, Frasier met a woman who loved animals, especially cats and names one of her cats Skimbleshanks and Grizabella, and when asked what he favorite broadway show was she said "CATS!"- (SENT IN BY: MATTY)Thanx

-In an episode of The Simpsons Bart goes to see CATS, and it is just REALLY funny! I can't even describe how funny it was...- (SENT IN BY: MATTY) Thanx

-In a commercial for Visa credit card, it was based on Visa paying for Broadway shows. Besides two other unidentified cats from CATS shown during it, near the end Mistoffelees popped up on the screen with a Visa credit card. What a popular guy...- (SENT IN BY: MATTY) Thanx

Look what I, LIL Bombs, found in the News Paper. I's a cartoon called "Off the Mark". This one is soooo cute I think!
