Black Box Warnings on Prescription Drugs

A lot of these TV commercials for prescription drugs are now required to tell you "black box"
warnings.

For example, for Imitrex.....
Some people go on to have major cardiac events, even with no risk factors for heart disease,
after taking the drug.

Or for Humera.....
Some people had been struck with lymphoma or even severe nervous system damage and/or
nervous disorders after taking the drug.

Or for Seasonale, a contraceptive:
Serious risks can result in a cardiovascular nature, such as heart attacks, PADs, and strokes,
and smoking makes them worse....

They have to say these warnings to stop lawsuits.
