Michael was born on November 1, 1964 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He loved to swim, and was a fantastic diver.
A few years later, Gruber found himself at Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music, where he found he had an amazing talent for singing. He then went on to pursue an acting career and was in many stage productions.
Michael has been in many bigtime shows such as the stage shows of, "The Wizard of Oz", "Who's Tommy?" "CATS" and many many more. Today Mr. Gruber is still on Broadway and is yet again a great sucess.I personally think he will always be remembered as his wonderful display as Munkustrap, the gray tabby.
